Richard Daguise, Managing Director & CEO

Richard was born in France, graduated in both France and Australia majoring in psychology and business management. He began his career in hotel industry in London before moved to Indonesia. His assignment in Indonesia started with Sheraton Bandung, West Java as room division manager in 1993 before moved to another Sheraton property in Lombok, East Indonesia.

In year 2000, Richard joined Alila, a newly established hotel management in Jakarta where he served as the General Manager. Richard then moved to Bali in 2005 to accept another challenge of managing an International Chain Management company, Aston in Bali before finally deciding to come back and live in Jakarta again.

Richard’s commitment to perfection and his extensive experience in both operational and marketing aspects of hotel management has allowed him to mark many successes in his career. Together with his team, Richard shares his passion for a new vision for the hotel as well as the organization. Under his leadership and dedication to details and creativity in all aspects, the team is committed to professional transformation in a challenging business environment.
